Bikini Waxing
A focused waxing service that removes hair from the bikini line — the area visible outside a standard swimsuit or underwear edge. Different from Brazilian (which is more comprehensive), bikini waxing keeps things cleaner and more defined along the swimsuit line without going fully bare. Best for clients wanting clean lines for beach or pool wear without going as comprehensive as a Brazilian, those new to intimate waxing wanting a less involved starting point, or anyone whose bikini-line maintenance has become a frustrating shaving cycle. Hard wax is used exclusively in the intimate area for the gentlest possible removal. Available at all three Pristine locations.

How to Prep for Your Wax
Hair length matters.
At least 1/4 inch (the length of a grain of rice). Too short — wax can’t grip. Too long — more painful. If you’ve been shaving, wait 2 weeks before your first wax.
Exfoliate 24–48 hours before.
Gentle physical or chemical exfoliation clears dead skin and makes waxing more effective and less ingrown-prone. Do not exfoliate the day of.
Skip lotions and oils the day of.
Wax needs to grip clean skin.
Avoid alcohol and caffeine right before intimate waxing.
Both increase skin sensitivity.
Time it with your cycle.
Skin is most sensitive 3–5 days before menstruation. If you have flexibility, book outside that window.
Come in clean.
A quick shower before helps — but not required.
Advil 30 minutes before if you’re pain-sensitive.

- No heat for 24 hours — hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, tanning, or intense workouts all inflame freshly waxed skin
- No sex or tight clothing for 24 hours after intimate waxing
- Exfoliate gently starting 48 hours after — prevents ingrowns
- Use the aftercare serum we recommend — this is the difference between clean skin and a field of ingrowns
- Sunscreen on any exposed areas for the next 48 hours — freshly waxed skin burns faster
