Pristine Spas opened on Canoe Creek Road in 2015 — our original location and the place this brand was built. Our St Cloud laser team runs two medical-grade platforms: the Candela GentleMax Pro (dual-wavelength 755nm Alexandrite + 1064nm Nd:YAG, the #1 dermatologist-recommended laser) and the Cynosure Elite iQ (dual-wavelength with FDA-cleared Skintel Melanin Reader). Licensed technicians, safe for every skin type, ten treatment areas plus electrolysis. Most clients see 80%+ permanent hair reduction after a full series.

Who We Are — St. Cloud

Our St Cloud location is where Pristine started. Founded in 2015 by Tamara and Inga inside the Publix Plaza on Canoe Creek Road, it’s the location that built the brand on one thing: word of mouth. A decade in, we’re still here — same plaza, same standards, same team philosophy. We’ve been running laser hair removal in St Cloud since day one, and most of our laser clients are multi-year regulars who started with a full series and now come back for occasional maintenance.

If you’re local to St Cloud, Harmony, Narcoossee, Kissimmee, or anywhere in the HWY 192 corridor — this is your spa.

What Makes Pristine Laser Different

Two platforms, not one.

Most spas have a single laser. We operate two of the most advanced systems on the market — Candela GentleMax Pro and Cynosure Elite iQ — so we can match the right wavelength to your skin type, hair color, and treatment area instead of forcing your skin to fit one machine.

Safe for every skin type.

Our Nd:YAG wavelength is specifically designed for darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV–VI) that other lasers can’t safely treat. The Skintel Melanin Reader on our Cynosure actually measures your melanin density before treatment and sets parameters accordingly. No guessing, no burns, no hyperpigmentation.

Licensed technicians, vendor-trained.

Every laser tech at Pristine holds a Florida laser license. Candela and Cynosure train our team on-site. Equipment manufacturers actually use our locations to demonstrate new technology to other spas — because we run the equipment the way it was meant to be run.

Contact cooling built in.

Dynamic Cooling Device on the Candela sprays a cryogenic burst on the skin milliseconds before each laser pulse. Treatment is significantly more comfortable than older IPL or diode systems that rely on a cold gel and hope.

Real expectations, real results.

6–8 sessions, 4–8 weeks apart depending on body area. 80%+ permanent reduction is the realistic outcome. We’ll tell you what laser can and can’t do before you book — not after you’ve paid.

Areas Treated

Beyond electrolysis — which our St. Cloud team offers for the finest and most stubborn hairs that laser can’t always target — our laser hair removal treatments cover virtually every area of the body. Each area is treated using medical-grade laser systems calibrated for the client’s specific skin type, hair color, and density. Most clients see meaningful reduction within four to six sessions; full clearance typically requires eight to twelve. Every laser treatment at St. Cloud is performed by certified laser technicians under medical supervision.

Face Areas

Upper Lip Laser

A quick, focused laser treatment that addresses upper-lip hair at the follicle level for permanent reduction. The small treatment area means appointments often run under five minutes. At our St. Cloud location, upper-lip laser is one of the highest-volume face treatments we perform — particularly among clients tired of monthly waxing or threading cycles. Best for clients with dark upper-lip hair against lighter skin (the highest-contrast scenario laser is designed to target), women dealing with hormonal facial hair growth, or anyone seeking a permanent solution to a recurring maintenance issue. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians.

Chin Laser

Targeted laser hair reduction for the chin area — one of the most hormonally responsive areas on the female face. Chin hair often emerges or intensifies during perimenopause, pregnancy, PCOS, or thyroid changes, and waxing or tweezing becomes a constant maintenance cycle. At St. Cloud, this is a frequent treatment for clients managing hormonally-driven chin hair who want to break the maintenance cycle entirely. Laser treats hair at the follicle level, gradually reducing density and regrowth over a course of sessions. Note that continued hormonal shifts may require occasional maintenance after initial clearance. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser techs.

Sideburns Laser

Targeted laser treatment for the sideburn area along the jawline — addressing hair that has often darkened or become more visible over time. This is an area where many clients don't realize the extent of growth until laser starts reducing it and the difference becomes obvious in everyday lighting. Particularly effective at our St. Cloud location among clients with darker hair against fair skin where contrast is high. Treatment sessions are quick due to the small surface area, and the area pairs naturally with chin and upper-lip laser for a complete lower-face plan. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians.

Full Face Laser

A comprehensive laser hair reduction plan covering upper lip, chin, sideburns, jawline, and any other facial areas with visible hair. Different from dermaplaning (a temporary blade-based removal) — full face laser addresses hair at the follicle level for permanent reduction across the entire face. At our St. Cloud location, full face laser is most commonly chosen by clients dealing with hormonal facial hair growth across multiple zones, those with significant facial hair density seeking a long-term solution, or anyone tired of maintaining individual face areas across separate appointments. Treatment plan typically eight to twelve sessions for clearance.

Body Areas

Underarm Laser

Underarm laser hair reduction — one of the highest-satisfaction laser areas we offer at St. Cloud. Underarm hair is typically dark, coarse, and dense — exactly the hair profile laser targets most effectively. Sessions are quick (under ten minutes), and most clients see dramatic reduction within three to four sessions. Beyond eliminating the shaving routine, laser also addresses ingrown hairs, deodorant irritation, and the dark pigmentation many clients develop from years of shaving — making this a transformative treatment for clients who've spent years dealing with underarm skin issues. Performed at our St. Cloud location by certified laser technicians.

Arms Laser

Half-arm (elbow down) or full-arm laser hair reduction for permanent reduction across the arm area. Arm hair density and coarseness vary dramatically client-to-client, and our St. Cloud technicians calibrate each session accordingly. Best for clients with darker arm hair against lighter skin where contrast keeps hair visible, those tired of regular shaving or waxing of the arms, or anyone wanting a permanent solution for an area visible year-round in Central Florida climate. Typically requires six to ten sessions for full clearance depending on hair density and area covered. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians.

Legs Laser

Half-leg or full-leg laser hair reduction — one of the most life-changing services we offer at our St. Cloud location for clients who've spent years shaving daily. Laser provides permanent reduction over a course of sessions, eventually eliminating the daily shave routine entirely. Legs respond particularly well to laser because most leg hair is naturally dark and coarse — the ideal target profile. Best for St. Cloud clients with persistent ingrown issues, those tired of the time and cost of regular shaving or waxing, or anyone wanting permanently smooth legs. Typically requires eight to twelve sessions for full clearance.

Back Laser

Comprehensive laser treatment covering upper, mid, and lower back areas. At our St. Cloud location, back laser is one of the most-requested male body treatments — clients with significant back-hair density find shaving or waxing difficult to maintain, and laser delivers permanent reduction over a course of sessions. Frequently chosen by clients also dealing with back-acne issues, as reduced hair density often reduces the bacterial harboring that contributes to bacne over time. Typically eight to twelve sessions for full clearance. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians experienced specifically with broad-area body laser work.

Chest Laser

Laser hair reduction covering chest, sternum, and abdominal area as desired. Hair density varies dramatically across clients, and St. Cloud treatment plans are calibrated to individual profiles. Best for clients who prefer a smooth chest aesthetic, athletes reducing friction and post-workout maintenance, those finding chest grooming increasingly difficult to maintain, or anyone whose chest hair has become more prominent with age and they'd prefer permanent reduction. Like other large body areas, full clearance typically requires eight to twelve sessions spaced appropriately for natural hair growth cycles. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians.

Stomach Laser

Targeted laser treatment for the lower-abdomen "happy trail" area, full stomach, or any combination by coverage preference. Stomach hair often emerges or darkens with age or hormonal changes, and laser provides permanent reduction rather than the ongoing maintenance cycle of waxing or shaving. At St. Cloud, stomach laser is most frequently booked alongside chest or back laser as part of a comprehensive male grooming plan. Best for clients wanting a clean midsection long-term, those whose stomach hair has darkened with hormonal shifts, or anyone who finds shaving the area creates ingrown issues. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser techs.

Shoulders Laser

Focused laser treatment for the shoulder and upper-back transition area — one of the most overlooked areas where hair density can be significant but doesn’t get the attention of full back treatment. Often included as part of a broader upper-body laser plan at our St. Cloud location, but available as a standalone for clients whose shoulder hair specifically bothers them. Best for clients with visible shoulder hair growth, those preparing for events involving tank tops or formal wear, or anyone wanting comprehensive upper-body hair management beyond just the back. Typically six to eight sessions for clearance.

Intimate Areas

Bikini Line Laser

Targeted laser treatment for the bikini line — the hair visible outside a standard swimsuit or underwear edge. Different from Brazilian laser (which is more comprehensive); bikini-line laser focuses specifically on clean lines along the swimsuit edge. At St. Cloud, this is a frequent first step for clients new to intimate laser — less involved than full Brazilian but still delivers permanent reduction in the most visible intimate area. Best for clients wanting clean lines for swimwear without the full Brazilian commitment, or anyone tired of constantly maintaining the bikini line through shaving or waxing. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians.

Brazilian Laser

Comprehensive laser treatment of the entire intimate area for permanent hair reduction. The most thorough intimate-laser option, addressing all hair across the bikini region from front to back. At our St. Cloud location, this is one of the most-requested intimate services among clients tired of the constant cycle of Brazilian waxing or shaving, those dealing with ingrowns from razors or hot wax, or anyone wanting permanent reduction in this high-maintenance area. Most clients see dramatic reduction within four to six sessions and full clearance within eight to twelve. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians experienced in intimate-area protocols.

Full Intimate Laser

The most comprehensive intimate-area laser option — full Brazilian plus all surrounding areas including upper thigh transitions and the perineum. Designed for clients wanting complete permanent reduction across the entire intimate region rather than treating different areas across separate sessions. At St. Cloud, this is typically chosen by clients fully committed to permanent intimate-area hair reduction, those who've already completed a Brazilian laser series and want to extend coverage, or anyone whose intimate-area maintenance has become a significant time and cost burden. Treatment plan typically eight to twelve sessions. Performed by St. Cloud certified laser technicians.

How Laser Hair Removal Works

Laser hair removal works by targeting the melanin (pigment) in the hair follicle. The laser energy is absorbed by the pigment, converts to heat, and damages the follicle at its base — disabling its ability to produce new hair.

Because it targets pigment, the treatment works best on dark hair. Blonde, gray, white, and red hair don’t have enough melanin for laser to target — that’s where electrolysis comes in.

Hair grows in cycles (anagen, catagen, telogen). Laser only disables follicles that are in the active growth phase at the time of treatment — which is why a full series of 6–8 sessions is required. Each session catches a different subset of follicles in the active phase.

After a full series, most clients see 80%+ permanent reduction. Some hormonal maintenance (one session every 12–18 months) may be needed for face and bikini areas — especially for PCOS, perimenopause, or anyone with significant hormonal shifts.

Candela GentleMax Pro

Our flagship laser system. Dual-wavelength platform:

755nm Alexandrite

Ideal for lighter skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–III) and finer hair. Fast, efficient, and one of the most-researched wavelengths in laser hair removal history.

1064nm Nd:YAG

Safe and effective for darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). Penetrates deeper and bypasses surface melanin, making treatment possible for skin types that older diode and IPL systems can’t safely treat.

Dynamic Cooling Device

Cryogenic spray cools the skin milliseconds before each pulse for comfort and safety.

#1 dermatologist-recommended laser system

The GentleMax Pro is the platform dermatologists choose when building their own practices.

Cynosure Elite iQ

Our second-platform advanced system. Dual-wavelength with FDA-cleared Skintel technology:

Alexandrite + Nd:YAG

Same dual-wavelength philosophy as the Candela, different engineering.

Skintel Melanin Reader

The only FDA-cleared device that physically measures your melanin density and recommends optimal treatment parameters. Removes guesswork, improves outcomes for darker skin types.

Also treats

Pigmentation, vascular conditions (rosacea, broken capillaries), and other aesthetic concerns.

Benefits of Laser Hair Removal

  • Permanent hair reduction — not "reduction" marketing language, actual permanent loss of most follicles after a full series
  • End of ingrown hair problems — no more razor bumps, no more wax-induced ingrowns
  • Time saved forever — the average woman spends 72 days of her life shaving her legs. Laser gives those days back.
  • Money saved long-term — total cost of a laser series is typically less than 5 years of waxing
  • Smoother skin — no daily stubble, no post-wax regrowth phase
  • Zero razor irritation — no more razor burn, nicks, or post-shave bumps
  • Works on PCOS-related hair growth — though maintenance sessions may be needed
  • Men and women both benefit — no gendered treatment bias

The math is simple: a full laser series costs less than a few years of waxing and fewer than 10 sessions of consistent shaving equipment, razors, and time.

Who Is (and Isn’t) a Good Candidate

Ideal candidates

  • Dark hair on light-to-medium skin (fastest, most dramatic results)
  • Dark hair on darker skin (excellent with Nd:YAG wavelength)
  • Anyone ready to commit to a 6–8 session series
  • Hormonal hair growth clients who want to manage it long-term

Not good candidates (for laser — may be candidates for electrolysis)

  • Blonde, gray, white, or red hair (no pigment to target)
  • Actively tanned or sunburned skin (must wait until skin returns to baseline)
  • Pregnant clients (we defer laser until postpartum out of caution)
  • Clients on Accutane (must be off for 6 months)
  • Clients with certain photosensitizing medications (we’ll ask at consultation)

If laser isn’t right for you, electrolysis is the alternative — and we do that too.

What to Expect During Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment

Consultation & skin analysis.

Your technician assesses your skin type, hair color, treatment area, and medical history. If you’re on any medications or recently tanned, that’s discussed here.

Patch test (first session only).

A small test patch confirms your skin responds well to the chosen wavelength and settings before treating the full area.

Prep.

Treatment area is cleaned and shaved (we prefer shaving to waxing pre-session — pigment needs to be in the follicle, not pulled out). Protective eyewear for you and your technician.

Treatment.

Most sessions are 15–45 minutes depending on area. The laser feels like a rubber band snap with a cooling burst. Most clients describe it as mildly uncomfortable, not painful.

Aftercare.

Mild redness for a few hours is normal — similar to light sunburn. You’ll get aftercare instructions including SPF and activity restrictions.

Return in 4–8 weeks for the next session.

Consistency is everything — a missed session resets progress for that follicle batch.

Pre-Treatment Prep

  • Shave the area 24 hours before your session. Do not wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams for 4 weeks prior — the follicle must be intact.
  • Avoid sun exposure for 4 weeks before. Tanned skin can’t be safely treated and will need to be rescheduled.
  • No self-tanner for 1 week before. Artificial pigment interferes with the laser.
  • No retinoids, exfoliants, or chemical peels for 5 days before in the treatment area.
  • Come in clean — no lotion, deodorant, or makeup on the area being treated.

Post-Treatment Care

  • No heat for 24 hours — hot showers, saunas, workouts, tanning.
  • SPF 30+ on treated areas every day for at least 2 weeks. This is non-negotiable.
  • Expect "shedding" over the next 1–3 weeks — this is dead hair falling out of the follicle, not regrowth.
  • No retinoids or exfoliants in the area for 5 days after.
  • Loose clothing over treated areas for 24–48 hours.

What Our Clients Say

Did a full Brazilian + underarm series at Pristine St Cloud. Six sessions and I’m basically done shaving those areas forever. Best investment I’ve made in myself — period.

Katrina B.

St Cloud

Been getting laser at Pristine for three years. They ran me through the Candela for my arms and the Nd:YAG for my face (I’m Fitzpatrick V) and the results on both are incredible. This team actually knows what they’re doing.

Amanda F.

St Cloud

Full back and shoulders laser — eight sessions and my back is permanently smooth. Tech was professional, fast, and the room was clean. Worth every dollar.

Nathan O.

St Cloud

PCOS patient here. Full face + neck laser series at Pristine St Cloud has been life-changing. I come back every 18 months for maintenance and my face is finally manageable.

Gabriela M.

St Cloud

I shopped around before committing. Pristine was the only place that wouldn’t just throw me on their one machine — they explained the difference between the Candela and the Cynosure, picked the right platform for my skin, and the results showed it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most areas need 6–8 sessions, spaced 4–8 weeks apart depending on body area. Face and bikini are typically 4 weeks apart; back and legs are 6–8 weeks. You’ll see visible reduction after 2–3 sessions, but the full series is what delivers the permanent result.

Rubber band snap with a cooling burst. Most clients describe it as mildly uncomfortable, not painful. The Candela’s Dynamic Cooling Device makes a big difference compared to older systems.

Yes — our Nd:YAG wavelength (on both Candela and Cynosure platforms) is specifically designed for darker skin (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). The Skintel Melanin Reader on our Cynosure physically measures your melanin density to dial in settings. This is one of the main reasons we run two advanced platforms.

No — laser targets pigment. If there’s no pigment, there’s nothing to target. Electrolysis is the alternative and the only FDA-approved method for truly permanent hair removal on these hair types.

Yes, with caveats. The follicles we disable don’t grow back. However, hormonal changes (puberty, pregnancy, perimenopause, PCOS) can activate dormant follicles, which is why some clients return for maintenance sessions once every 12–18 months on face or bikini areas. “Permanent reduction” is the medical term.

We don’t treat pregnant clients — not because laser is proven dangerous, but because long-term safety data doesn’t exist. We resume treatment postpartum.

No — the laser will damage the tattoo ink. We have a separate Tattoo Removal service using the Astanza Duality for exactly this purpose. If you have a tattoo in the treatment area, we avoid it and treat around it.

Laser works — but you should expect maintenance. PCOS clients typically need the full series plus 1–2 maintenance sessions per year to manage new follicle activation.

Yes — shaving is fine and encouraged. Do not wax, pluck, or use depilatory creams between sessions. Those pull the hair out of the follicle, and the follicle is what the laser needs to target.
