Pristine Spas opened on Canoe Creek Road in 2015 — our original location and the place this brand was built. Our St Cloud PMU studio is where our lead PMU artist operates — the artist who took first place at a worldwide PMU competition in New York. Eight semi-permanent makeup services spanning brows, lips, eyes, scalp, and medical restoration. Pharmaceutical-grade pigments, sterile single-use technique, award-winning artistry. The work you see on our most posted clients was most often done here.

Who We Are — St. Cloud

Our St Cloud location is where Pristine started. Founded in 2015 by Tamara and Inga inside the Publix Plaza on Canoe Creek Road, it’s the location that built the brand on one thing: word of mouth.

St Cloud is also the home studio of our award-winning PMU artist. Clients travel from across Central Florida — and sometimes out of state — specifically to see her. This is not a service we sub in or rotate out. It happens here, with the artist you came for.

If you’re local to St Cloud, Harmony, Narcoossee, Kissimmee, or anywhere in the HWY 192 corridor — this is your spa.

What Makes Pristine PMU Different

Award-winning artistry.

Our lead PMU artist won first place at a worldwide PMU competition in New York. That’s the credential. It’s not marketing — it’s years of mastery on a global stage, brought to you.

Skill compounds — and you see it.

PMU work done by an elite artist looks natural, heals evenly, wears beautifully through years, and fades cleanly. PMU done by a mediocre artist doesn’t. You’ll live with the result every day. Pay for the artist, not the price point.

Sterile, single-use everything.

Fresh needle cartridges for every client. Fresh pigment. Fresh work surface. No reused anything. This is a non-negotiable standard that half the PMU industry cuts corners on.

Pharmaceutical-grade pigments.

We use premium, hypoallergenic pigments formulated specifically for permanent cosmetics. Not tattoo ink, not gray-market imports. The right pigment is the difference between beautifully aged results and blue-green disasters five years later.

Digital machine technique.

Our PMU work is performed with modern digital rotary PMU machines — consistent depth, minimal trauma, better healing, cleaner lines. The result is natural, not stamped.

Proper consultation + mapping.

Every PMU service starts with mapping and color matching. We don’t put permanent ink in your skin without a full design approval. You see the drawn shape before anything becomes permanent.

Touch-up included in most services.

PMU requires a 6–8 week touch-up to finalize the result. That’s built into most packages — we don’t charge extra for finishing your own work.

Other Semi-Permanent Makeup Services

In addition to our most-booked treatments at the St. Cloud location — Microblading, Lip Blushing, and Permanent Eyeliner — our St. Cloud PMU artists offer a broader menu of specialty cosmetic tattooing and corrective services. Every artist at St. Cloud is certified in modern pigment technology and color theory, and our lead PMU artist holds a first-place finish from a worldwide PMU competition in New York City.

Powder Brows

A fully shaded, ombré-style eyebrow technique that creates the look of expertly filled-in brow makeup — softer at the front, building to fuller density at the tail. Different from microshading (heavier, more defined finish) and entirely different from microblading (no hair-stroke simulation; this is pure shading). At our St. Cloud location, this is a frequent choice for clients wanting a polished, "done" look without daily makeup application, clients with oily skin types that don't hold microbladed strokes well, or those whose natural brows lack density to work with. Heals vivid initially and softens to final color over a few weeks.

Microshading

A semi-permanent eyebrow technique creating a soft, powdered, filled-in look — similar to the effect of pencil or powder makeup but lasting one to three years. Unlike microblading, which uses hair-stroke patterns, microshading layers tiny pigment dots to build gradient color and soft definition. At our St. Cloud location, this is a frequent recommendation for clients with oily skin (where microblading strokes blur over time), clients with thin or sparse brows needing more visual density, those who prefer a more makeup-like finish, or clients whose previous microblading has faded and they want to try something different. Performed by St. Cloud certified PMU artists.

Permanent Makeup Repair

Corrective work for permanent makeup that healed poorly, shifted color over time, or was placed incorrectly. St. Cloud clients come to us most often with brows that healed gray, red, or blue rather than natural brown; lip blush that's turned orange or pink; or eyeliner that's migrated or expanded beyond its original shape. Our PMU artists use color-correcting pigment technique, careful layered re-deposit, and in cases where the existing work is too saturated to correct directly, a referral for partial tattoo removal before re-pigmentation. Always starts with a thorough consultation to assess what's possible and recommend the right approach.

Full Lip Tint

A semi-permanent makeup treatment that deposits soft, buildable pigment across the entire lip to restore color, define the border, and correct natural paleness or uneven tone. At St. Cloud, your artist maps lip shape and selects a shade matched to your undertone, then saturates color evenly for a your-lips-but-better finish that holds through coffee, meals, and workouts. Ideal for clients with faded, asymmetrical, or naturally pale lips who want to wake up with color already done. Results settle over a short healing window and last one to three years. Available at our St. Cloud location.

Scalp Micropigmentation

A specialty cosmetic tattooing service creating the appearance of fuller hair density on the scalp through thousands of tiny pigment dots placed to mimic short hair follicles or stubble. Used to camouflage thinning hair, fill in receded hairlines, conceal hair-transplant or injury scars, or create the look of a tightly cropped buzz on bald scalps. Works across all hair colors — pigment is matched to the client's existing hair or to their desired finished appearance. At St. Cloud, this is typically delivered across multiple sessions to build appropriate density and natural-looking variation. Performed by St. Cloud PMU artists with specific scalp work training.

Areola Restoration

A restorative cosmetic tattooing service for clients who've undergone mastectomy, breast reconstruction, or other surgeries affecting the breast. The technique uses 3D shading, custom pigment matching to the client's skin tone, and detailed micro-pigmentation to recreate natural-looking areola dimension, color, and visual texture. Many of our St. Cloud clients describe areola restoration as the final, deeply personal step in their reconstruction journey — the moment everything looks finished. The work is performed in a private, dignified setting by St. Cloud artists with specific restorative training. Consultations are unhurried and include reference review, pigment selection, and a full walkthrough of healing expectations.

What Semi-Permanent Makeup Can Do for You

  • Save 15–25 minutes every morning — no more brow pencil, brow gel, lip liner, lipstick, or eyeliner
  • Look put-together without effort — you wake up looking like you
  • Correct asymmetry — uneven brows, thin or faded lips, asymmetric lash lines that makeup can only cover
  • Rebuild what’s been lost — sparse brows, pale lips, faded lash lines, areolas after surgery, hair lost to alopecia
  • Survive water, sweat, sleep, tears — PMU doesn’t smudge, transfer, or wash off
  • Photograph beautifully — consistent color and shape in every photo
  • Restore confidence — especially for medical restoration clients (areola, scalp), the emotional impact is real

Time saved, definition restored, confidence rebuilt — every day, for years.

The PMU Process — What to Expect

Consultation & design.

Your artist maps the shape to your face — brow bone, facial proportions, symmetry, color matching to your natural tone. Nothing happens until you approve the drawing.

Numbing.

Topical anesthetic applied before and during the procedure. Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching — not painful.

First session.

The pigment is deposited in precise strokes or shaded passes depending on service. Takes 2–3 hours for most services.

Initial healing (7–14 days).

Color will look dark and bold initially, then soften dramatically as the skin heals. Do not judge the result until at least week 4. This is the #1 misunderstood part of PMU.

Touch-up (6–8 weeks).

A second session to perfect color saturation, balance shape, and address any areas that didn’t take evenly. This session is when the final result is locked in. Most packages include this touch-up.

Annual maintenance (optional).

Color softens over time. Most clients come back every 12–18 months for a refresh. Without maintenance, PMU fades gradually over 1–3 years.

Pre-Treatment Prep

  • No caffeine, alcohol, or blood thinners 24 hours before
  • No Accutane for 6 months, no retinoids for 5 days before
  • Avoid sun exposure and tanning for 2 weeks before
  • No Botox or filler in the area for 4 weeks before
  • Discontinue fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen 48 hours before (if medically cleared)
  • Come in with clean skin — no makeup in the treatment area
  • Eat before your appointment — PMU sessions are long

Post-Treatment Care

  • Keep the area clean, dry, and moisturized with the aftercare ointment we provide
  • No water, sweat, makeup, or skincare on the treated area for 10 days
  • No sun, tanning, saunas, pools, or hot showers for 2 weeks
  • Do NOT pick, scratch, or peel — the pigment comes with it
  • Sunscreen SPF 30+ once healed, every day, for the life of your PMU
  • Schedule the touch-up at 6–8 weeks — do not delay past 10 weeks or the touch-up is significantly harder

Who Is (and Isn’t) a Candidate

Good candidates

  • Healthy adults 18+
  • Clients with realistic expectations and a consultation-first mindset
  • Clients willing to follow pre- and post-care protocols
  • Most skin tones and types (artist will confirm at consultation)

Not candidates (or must wait)

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding clients
  • Clients on Accutane within the past 6 months
  • Clients with active skin conditions in the treatment area (eczema, psoriasis, active acne, cold sores)
  • Clients on blood thinners without medical clearance
  • Clients with keloid scarring history
  • Diabetics with uncontrolled blood sugar
  • Active chemotherapy patients (must be cleared by oncologist post-treatment)
  • Clients under 18

If you’re not sure whether PMU is right for you, the consultation is the first step. We’ll tell you honestly.

What Our Clients Say

Powder brows at Pristine St Cloud changed my face. My artist mapped them perfectly, the color has healed beautifully, and a year in they still look freshly done. I drove from Lakeland and would do it again.

Brittany K.

St Cloud

Lip blushing at Pristine — I cannot recommend this enough. Healed lips are the right color, the right shape, and I haven’t touched lipstick in nine months. Worth every dollar.

Taylor M.

St Cloud

Scalp micropigmentation. I’d been shaving my head for a decade. Two sessions at Pristine St Cloud and I look like I have a full shaved head of hair again. My confidence is unrecognizable.

James R.

St Cloud

Came to Pristine St Cloud to fix bad microblading from another shop. The artist assessed it, built a correction plan, and the result is finally brows I’m proud of. She’s the real deal.

Samantha A.

St Cloud

Areola restoration after my mastectomy. The artist was compassionate, professional, and the dimensional work is extraordinary. I didn’t realize how much this would mean until it was done. Thank you, Pristine.

Frequently Asked Questions

1–3 years depending on the service, your skin type, sun exposure, skincare routine, and individual biology. Oily skin tends to fade faster. Consistent SPF extends results significantly.

Topical numbing is applied before and during the procedure. Most clients describe it as mild scratching or pressure — not painful. Lip blushing is the most sensitive; scalp micropigmentation and brows are the easiest to tolerate.

Consultation covers it. Powder brows give a soft makeup-look finish. Microshading adds hairstroke detail. Microblading is the most natural but fades fastest and doesn’t work on all skin types (oily and mature skin often don’t hold microblading well). Your artist will recommend what works for your skin.

Nothing becomes permanent until you approve the drawn design. We map, show, adjust, and only proceed once you’re happy. That said — trust the artist. Our philosophy is anatomy-first. If you bring in a shape that won’t work on your face, we’ll tell you.

No. PMU is deposited more shallowly than body tattoos, uses different pigments, and is designed to fade gracefully over 1–3 years. Done well, it looks like perfectly applied makeup — not like tattoo ink.

No. We defer all PMU services until postpartum and post-nursing.

Bring it to a consultation. We may be able to correct, reshape, or color-correct it. Severe cases may need laser removal first — we’ll tell you honestly at the consultation.

Absolutely. Female SMP for diffuse thinning, postpartum hair loss, and alopecia is one of our fastest-growing services. The technique is different from male SMP (designed to blend with remaining hair rather than create a shaved look) and our artist is trained in both.

Some insurance covers it as part of post-mastectomy reconstruction. We can provide documentation for your insurance review. We treat this as a medical service and the consultation is always discreet and confidential.
