Pristine Spas opened on Canoe Creek Road in 2015 — our original location and the place this brand was built. Microblading has been one of our signature services at St Cloud since early on, driven largely by word of mouth and by our lead PMU artist’s reputation — a 1st place winner at a worldwide PMU competition in New York. Every microblading appointment at St Cloud includes full mapping, custom pigment matching, the initial session, AND the mandatory 6–8 week perfecting session — all in one price. Natural hair-stroke brows that last 1–3 years, done by competition-level skill.

Who We Are — St. Cloud

Our St Cloud location is where Pristine started. Founded in 2015 by Tamara and Inga inside the Publix Plaza on Canoe Creek Road, it’s the location that built the brand on one thing: word of mouth. A decade in, we’re still here — same plaza, same standards, same team philosophy.

Microblading has been a signature St Cloud service for years. Clients come from across Central Florida for our lead PMU artist specifically — many having tried other microblading artists and been disappointed, or having researched extensively before booking. Our St Cloud PMU chair has produced thousands of microblading results, and we have a portfolio full of before/after work and long-term client testimonials.

If you’re local to St Cloud, Harmony, Narcoossee, Kissimmee, or anywhere in the HWY 192 corridor — this is your spa.

What Makes Pristine Microblading Different

Our lead PMU artist is a 1st-place world competition winner.

This isn’t marketing language. Our head artist took 1st place at a worldwide PMU competition in New York, competing against artists from around the globe. Microblading is an art form, and competition-level skill matters. If you’ve seen regretful microblading, the common denominator is always the artist.

Mandatory perfecting session included.

Microblading is a two-appointment service — the initial session and a 6–8 week perfecting/touch-up session. This is non-negotiable for proper results. Every Pristine microblading package includes both appointments in one price. Most spas charge them separately, and many clients skip the touch-up (which is when the final shape is dialed in). We build it in so you don’t have that option.

Honest skin-type assessment.

Microblading doesn’t work well on all skin types. Very oily skin, thick skin, and certain skin conditions cause pigment migration, blurred strokes, and faded results. At your consultation, we assess your skin honestly — if you’re not a good candidate, we’ll tell you and recommend powder brows, combo brows, or brow lamination instead. We don’t sell you a service you’ll regret.

Full facial mapping before any pigment is deposited.

Every microblading appointment starts with mapping — measuring your brow bone, eye position, nose bridge, and facial proportions to determine the ideal shape. Your natural brow shape is honored, but refined, lifted, and made symmetrical. We draw the shape first, show you, refine together, and only proceed to blading once you approve.

Custom pigment matching.

Pigments are color-matched to your natural hair color, skin undertone, and desired intensity. We use professional PMU pigment lines (not tattoo ink), and our artist blends custom tones for each client. No “one color fits all.”

Sterile, single-use tools.

Every blade, every cartridge, every pigment cup is single-use and disposed of after your appointment. Fresh disposable tools. Clean workspace. Zero cross-contamination.

Realistic pain management.

Topical numbing is applied before and during the procedure. Most clients rate microblading 3–5 out of 10 on the pain scale — significantly more tolerable than expected, especially after the first pass when the numbing fully kicks in.

Clear expectation setting.

Microblading results look darker, sharper, and more dramatic in the first 5–7 days than they will long-term. Over the 14-day healing period, strokes fade 30–40% and soften into their final appearance. We walk you through the full healing curve before you book, so you’re prepared for the scab/flake phase and don’t panic.

What Is Microblading?

Microblading is a manual semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo technique. A specialized handheld tool with a configuration of fine needles is used to deposit pigment into the upper layers of the skin in the shape of individual “hair strokes.” Each stroke is placed by hand — following the natural growth pattern of your brows — and the cumulative effect is a brow that appears denser, shaped, and filled with natural-looking hair.

Microblading is NOT the same as traditional brow tattooing (which uses a machine and deeper needle placement, resulting in a “block” look). It’s also not the same as powder brows or microshading, which use different techniques to create different effects (see comparison below).

The pigment lives in a shallower layer of skin than traditional tattoos, which is why it fades over 1–3 years and requires periodic touch-ups to maintain.

Your consultation determines the right technique for YOUR skin. We don’t push microblading on clients who’d do better with powder or combo brows. The artist’s job is to match the technique to your skin — not your preference.

Benefits of Microblading

  • 1–3 years of perfect brows — no daily product, no filling in, no rushing in the morning
  • Restores over-plucked brows — from decades of at-home tweezing
  • Fills sparse brows — genetic sparsity, chemo regrowth, alopecia
  • Creates symmetry — most natural brows are slightly uneven; microblading fixes it
  • Photographs beautifully — no makeup streaking, smudging, or fading in photos
  • Works through water, sweat, humidity — swim, workout, cry, shower, all fine
  • Saves time — most clients save 10–15 minutes per morning for 1–3 years
  • Customizable to your face — mapped to your specific features, not a template
  • Confidence boost — for clients who’ve felt self-conscious about sparse brows for years
  • Medical applications — alopecia, trichotillomania, chemo recovery, thyroid-related hair loss

Who Comes to Pristine for Microblading

  • Clients with over-plucked brows (most common)
  • Clients with naturally sparse or thin brows
  • Clients recovering from chemotherapy who lost brow hair
  • Alopecia and trichotillomania clients (with dermatologist coordination)
  • Busy professionals wanting permanent “put-together” baseline
  • Brides wanting camera-ready brows for the wedding (book 3–6 months ahead)
  • Clients transitioning from daily brow makeup (pencil, pomade, gel)
  • Active clients (athletes, swimmers, outdoor workers) who can’t maintain makeup
  • Clients with shaky hands or vision issues struggling with daily application
  • Older clients with thinning brows due to aging
  • Men — increasingly common, particularly for shape definition and density
  • Clients with previous microblading from other artists needing correction or refresh

Who Isn’t a Good Microblading Candidate

Microblading is not for everyone. We decline clients who aren’t candidates — it protects your face and our reputation. Not good candidates include:

  • Very oily skin — pigment migrates, strokes blur together, results don’t hold
  • Thick, textured skin — same issue with stroke blurring
  • Active acne or rosacea in the brow area — must be resolved first
  • Keloid scarring history — PMU can trigger keloid formation
  • Bleeding disorders or blood thinners — without physician clearance
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding clients — deferred until after
  • Accutane within 6 months — skin is too fragile
  • Autoimmune conditions affecting skin healing — case by case, require clearance
  • Active eczema or dermatitis in the brow area
  • Immune system disorders without medical clearance
  • Recent chemical peels, microneedling, or resurfacing in the brow area (wait 4+ weeks)
  • Under 18 — no exceptions
  • Clients with unrealistic expectations — wanting dramatically different brow shape from what their face supports

For any of these, we recommend alternatives: powder brows, brow lamination, tinting + shaping, or medical consultation for the underlying issue before considering PMU.

The healing curve (this is critical — read carefully)

Days 1–2

Brows look sharp, dark, bold — about 30–40% darker than final appearance. Slight redness.

Days 3–7

Brows darken further, begin to scab and flake. DO NOT pick, scratch, or peel the scabs — this is the #1 cause of patchy healing.

Days 7–10

Scabs fully shed, brows may temporarily look faded or patchy — this is called the “ghost phase.” Panic is common. Don’t panic.

Days 10–14

Pigment that was trapped under the healing skin re-emerges. Color returns. Strokes fade and soften to final appearance.

Days 14–28

Final color, shape, and softness settle in. This is the “before your touch-up” look.

Week 6–8

Perfecting session (included). Any gaps, fading, or shape refinements are completed. AFTER this session is when you see your final, long-term result.

Post-touch-up

  • Brows healed and settled at 6–10 months
  • Optional color refresh at 12–18 months (extends wear)
  • Full refresh / re-microblading at 2–3 years

Aftercare — The 14 Days That Make or Break Results

Days 1–7 — strict protocol

  • No water on the brows (no showering over, no washing face over the sink)
  • Clean with provided cleanser morning and night using dabbing motion only
  • Apply post-procedure balm as directed (thin layer, 2–3 times daily)
  • No makeup on or around the brows
  • No sweating, exercising, or getting heated
  • Sleep on your back (silk pillowcase helps)
  • No hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, or ocean
  • No direct sun on the brows
  • Do not touch, scratch, rub, or pick

Days 7–14

  • Continue gentle cleansing
  • Apply aftercare balm only when brows feel dry
  • Expect scabbing and flaking — let it happen naturally
  • Resume normal activity EXCEPT pool, sauna, and direct sun
  • No exfoliation near the brows
  • Gentle face washing returns

Week 2–6 (between initial and touch-up)

  • Normal skincare resumes (avoid retinoids and acids directly on brows)
  • SPF on brows daily — prevents pigment fading
  • No facials, chemical peels, or laser in the area
  • No tinting or other brow services
  • Attend your touch-up appointment at week 6–8

Ongoing — maintaining results

  • Daily SPF on brows (extends pigment life significantly)
  • Gentle cleansing products only
  • Avoid exfoliants directly on brows
  • Moderate sun exposure (heavy sun fades PMU fast)
  • Touch-up or color refresh at 12–18 months to extend wear

Medical Microblading — Special Cases

We offer specialized microblading for clients with medical needs:

  • Chemotherapy recovery — restoring brows lost during treatment (coordinate with oncologist, typically 6+ months post-chemo)
  • Alopecia areata and alopecia universalis — dermatologist coordination required
  • Trichotillomania recovery — with mental health professional clearance
  • Thyroid-related hair loss — medication-stabilized clients can proceed
  • Post-surgical brow restoration — after brow lift or facial surgery, once fully healed

These clients often need extra consultation time, modified protocols, and sometimes pre-procedure medical clearance. We handle this case-by-case with care.

Correction Work — Fixing Bad Microblading from Other Artists

If you have microblading from another artist and aren’t happy with the result, we can help. Options depend on the state of your current work:

Gap filling + color refresh

If shape is good but strokes faded unevenly.

Shape correction + new strokes

If current strokes are tolerable but shape is off.

Full cover-up

Using powder or combo brow technique to mask old microblading.

Saline lightening + removal

If the work needs to come out before new work.

Referral for laser removal

For extreme cases (heavy saturation, migration, color issues).

Correction work requires its own consultation. Bring photos of how the brows looked originally, how they healed, and how they look now. We’ll assess and give you an honest recommendation — including “don’t add more, let this fade first” if that’s the right answer.

Microblading Touch-Ups & Long-Term Care

  • 6–8 week perfecting session — included in initial price
  • 12–18 month color refresh — optional, extends full wear
  • 2–3 year full refresh — re-microblading once pigment has fully faded
  • Lifetime pricing — existing clients get refresh pricing lower than new client rates

Most clients rebook for maintenance roughly every 18–24 months. Some go longer, some shorter, depending on skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine.

What Our Clients Say

Microbladed at Pristine St Cloud 18 months ago. Still looking perfect. My over-plucked brows from the 90s are finally full and shaped for the first time in 25 years. Their PMU artist is a true artist — I cried after my touch-up because I finally looked like myself again.

Jennifer M.

St Cloud

Went to Pristine St Cloud after a bad microblading experience elsewhere. Their artist was brutally honest — told me my previous work needed to fade before we could add more, and referred me for saline removal first. Six months later we did microblading and it’s perfect. I would have made the same mistake twice without her honesty.

Sarah P.

St Cloud

Alopecia client. Lost all my brow hair years ago. Pristine St Cloud’s PMU artist coordinated with my dermatologist and did medical microblading for me. I have brows again. I cry every time I look in the mirror. This changed my life.

Maria T.

St Cloud

Bride. Microbladed 8 weeks before my wedding — initial session + touch-up timed perfectly. Wedding photos are flawless and I didn’t worry about brow makeup on the most important day of my life. Pristine St Cloud’s artist made this happen.

Cynthia B.

St Cloud

Chemo recovery microblading at Pristine St Cloud. Their artist was gentle, patient, and understood exactly what this meant to me. Twelve months in and I have full brows again. There are no words for what this service did for my recovery and my self-image.
