Pristine Spas opened in Lake Nona on Narcoossee Road in 2022 to serve one of the most demanding clientele in Central Florida — Medical City professionals, healthcare workers, executives, and families who don’t settle. Our Lake Nona massage team includes licensed therapists trained in thirteen modalities, from classic Swedish and deep tissue to prenatal, sports recovery, cupping, lymphatic drainage, and more. Every session is customized to your body and whatever you walked in carrying. No rushed turnovers, no upsell theater, no template protocols. You book the time, you get the full time, and you leave better than you came in.

Who We Are — Lake Nona

Lake Nona isn’t a normal zip code. You’ve got surgeons, nurses, researchers, executives, pro athletes in training, and families who moved here specifically for the schools and the standards. This clientele has seen the inside of every top medical and wellness facility in the country. They know what good looks like — and they don’t come back when it isn’t.

We opened here in 2022 knowing exactly that. Our Lake Nona therapists pair real clinical fluency with hands-on craft — the kind of bodywork that holds up to a client who recovers athletes or stands in an OR all day. That combination is harder to find in this industry than it should be.

If you’re local to Lake Nona, Laureate Park, Medical City, Narcoossee, Moss Park, or anywhere along the 417 corridor — this is your spa.

What Makes Pristine Massage Different

Licensed therapists, not hourly labor.

Every therapist at Pristine holds an active Florida massage license (MA credential). Many trained at Pristine Beauty Academy — our own accredited school — which means we know how they were taught because we taught them.

The room is the treatment.

Quiet, clean, temperature-controlled, no overlapping conversations, no ambient noise from a packed lobby. The environment is part of why the work lands.

You pick the pressure.

Light, medium, firm, deep — your therapist checks in and adjusts. You shouldn’t have to brace through a session or wake up bruised unless that’s what you asked for.

One intake, every modality on the menu.

Mix reflexology with aromatherapy. Add cupping to deep tissue. Do prenatal with hot stones on your shoulders. It’s your hour.

Other Massage Services

In addition to the signature modalities our Lake Nona team performs daily — Couples, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic Drainage, Prenatal, Cupping, Reflexology, Sports, and Trigger Point — every therapist at our Lake Nona location is Florida-licensed and credentialed across our full therapeutic menu. Pressure, technique, and product are adjusted in real time based on what your body presents that day.

Swedish Massage

The foundational massage modality — long flowing strokes, kneading, friction, rhythmic tapping that work superficial muscle layers while activating the parasympathetic nervous system. At our Lake Nona location, Swedish is the most common entry-point treatment for clients new to professional massage, and a frequent maintenance choice for clients whose primary goal is stress relief rather than addressing specific injuries. Often the gateway that gets clients into a consistent monthly massage routine and the baseline modality from which more specialized treatments are introduced over time. Versatile, accessible, deeply effective when relaxation is the priority.

Aromatherapy Massage

Lake Nona clients often book Aromatherapy when they want a treatment that works on both the body and the mind in one session. Your therapist selects essential oils based on what you're carrying — lavender for sleep and high-stress weeks, eucalyptus for respiratory and muscular relief, peppermint for circulation and mental fatigue, bergamot for mood regulation. Flowing Swedish-style technique works the oils into the skin while their aromatic action engages the limbic system, deepening the treatment past what pressure alone can achieve. Popular monthly with our Lake Nona membership clients running active professional schedules. Performed by Lake Nona licensed massage therapists.

Hot & Cold Stone Massage

Contrast-therapy bodywork using heated basalt and chilled marble stones in sequence — one of the most luxurious experiences on our Lake Nona menu and a favorite among clients seeking deeper relaxation than standard massage delivers. Heated stones reach muscle layers hands alone can't access; cold stones constrict vessels, reduce inflammation, and engage the nervous system. The thermal contrast itself produces therapeutic benefit beyond either temperature in isolation. Popular year-round at Lake Nona, especially with clients carrying significant chronic tension or those who simply want the most premium relaxation experience available on our menu. Performed by licensed Lake Nona therapists.

Biofreeze Massage

A focused therapeutic session for clients carrying acute inflammation, post-workout soreness, or active pain that traditional heat-based massage would aggravate. Massage technique combines with Biofreeze's menthol-based cooling action to penetrate inflamed muscle tissue and blunt nerve pain signals throughout the session. At Lake Nona, this treatment is frequently booked by clients training across Medical City fitness facilities, weekend athletes managing overuse injuries, and clients dealing with chronic conditions like sciatica, IT band issues, or sports injuries. Best for active inflammation specifically — chronic tension responds better to other modalities on our menu. Performed by Lake Nona licensed therapists.

Electrical Muscle Stimulation

A specialty modality combining gentle electrical muscle stimulation with hands-on technique to release deep tension patterns that hands alone struggle to reach. Low-frequency electrical pulses generate involuntary muscle contractions that work tissue from the inside while your Lake Nona therapist addresses the surface manually. Together, the two approaches reach adhesions and trigger points that have become essentially stuck through chronic stress or repetitive strain. Intense and highly effective for clients with stubborn chronic tension, athletes managing high training loads, or rehabilitation cases. Booked often at Lake Nona by clients who haven't seen results from standard deep tissue alone.

Geriatric Massage

A modified protocol designed specifically for older adults — lighter pressure, shorter session lengths, modified positioning to respect joint and cardiovascular limits, and focused attention on circulation, joint mobility, and nervous system regulation. Lake Nona's proximity to Medical City means we see clients managing post-surgical recovery, chronic conditions, and the everyday limitations of aging — and our geriatric protocol respects those realities while still delivering meaningful improvement in sleep, mood, pain levels, and overall functioning. Performed by Lake Nona therapists with specific experience in geriatric massage technique and contraindication awareness.

Benefits of Regular Massage

  • Lowers cortisol and resting heart rate
  • Improves sleep quality and sleep latency
  • Releases chronic muscle tension before it becomes injury
  • Accelerates recovery from workouts and physical work
  • Improves circulation and lymphatic flow
  • Reduces tension headaches and TMJ tightness
  • Supports posture, mobility, and range of motion
  • Provides measurable stress relief — not marketing language, actual physiology

Most of our regular clients come every two to four weeks. That’s the cadence where maintenance compounds.

What Our Clients Say

I work twelve-hour shifts at Medical City and my deep tissue therapist at Pristine Lake Nona is the only reason my neck and shoulders survive. She actually listens and adjusts. Best massage in the area, hands down.

Allison R.

Lake Nona

Train at the USTA campus and recover at Pristine. Monthly sports massage keeps me on the court. The therapists understand athletic bodies — this isn’t a fluff spa massage.

Devin M.

Lake Nona

Prenatal massage at 34 weeks — first real sleep I’d had in weeks. The therapist was careful, knowledgeable, and clearly trained for prenatal specifically. Coming back postpartum.

Priscilla N.

Lake Nona

Clean, quiet, professional, and they actually know what they’re doing. The cupping and deep tissue combo is my standing monthly appointment now. Worth every dollar.

Greg T.

Lake Nona

Moved here from a city with great spas and was worried I’d have to compromise. Pristine Lake Nona is the real thing — the booking, the front desk, the rooms, the therapists. Everything works.

Frequently Asked Questions

Sessions run 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. Most clients book 60 or 90. For deep tissue or multi-area work, 90 gets the best result.

Whatever you’re comfortable in. You’ll undress to your level of comfort before the session and be fully draped with sheets throughout. Only the area being worked on is exposed at any time.

Gratuity is appreciated but not required. Standard is 15–20% of the service, same as other personal services.

Weekly to biweekly for therapeutic goals (chronic pain, recovery, rehab). Every 2–4 weeks for general maintenance and stress management. Monthly at minimum if you want compounding benefit.

Swedish uses lighter-to-medium pressure with long flowing strokes — relaxation, circulation, general reset. Deep tissue uses firmer, more targeted pressure on specific muscle layers and knots — chronic tension, pain, and postural issues.

Yes — book our Prenatal Massage, which uses side-lying positioning with full support bolsters. We recommend clearance from your OB after your first trimester.

Not at Pristine. We’re a fee-for-service spa, not a medical provider. Some FSA/HSA accounts will cover massage with a doctor’s prescription — check with your plan.

Yes. Membership is the most popular option. We also offer multi-session bundles at member pricing for non-members. Ask at the front desk or on booking.
