What Makes Pristine Injectables Different

Every injectable treatment at Pristine operates under the medical direction of a double board-certified cosmetic surgeon. That is the credential that matters — and the one most med spas do not have. Your treatment plan, product selection, and safety protocols are built under real clinical supervision, not delegated to a remote medical director.
Licensed medical injectors only.
Structural filler is a medical procedure, not an esthetic add-on. Jawline, chin, and cheek work demands a deep understanding of facial anatomy and the vasculature beneath it. Every injection at Pristine is administered by a licensed medical professional with advanced training in facial anatomy and injection technique.
Anatomy-first philosophy.
Facial balancing works with your bone structure, not against it. We do not chase trends or copy photos of people whose proportions are nothing like yours. Every consultation starts with a full assessment of your symmetry, profile, volume, and how your face is aging — and the plan is built around what will look right on you.
Conservative dosing, honest communication.
Structure is built over time, not in one overfilled session. If what you are asking for is not right for your face, we will tell you. We would rather start measured, let you live with the result, and refine at your next visit than overcorrect.
Real-brand products through proper medical channels.
Juvéderm (Allergan), Restylane (Galderma), and RHA (Revance) — all sourced through legitimate medical channels. No imported, counterfeit, or off-market products, which IS a real problem at unregulated med spas.
Hyaluronidase on-site.
Our structural fillers are hyaluronic acid, which means the reversal agent (hyaluronidase) is always available. If you ever need correction — asymmetry, overcorrection, migration, or (rarely) a complication — we can dissolve the filler. Most med spas do not stock this.
No pressure, no quota.
Our injectors are salaried, not commissioned on product. You will not be pushed into more syringes than your plan calls for, and you will not be upsold into areas you did not come to treat.

Your injector recommends the right product at consultation based on the treatment area, your goals, and any prior injectable history. All of these structural fillers are hyaluronic acid — reversible with hyaluronidase if you ever want them gone.

- Last forever — structural filler typically lasts 12–18 months by product and area
- Give you someone else’s bone structure — balancing works with your anatomy
- Achieve a dramatic change safely in one overfilled session — structure is built conservatively over time

Pre-Treatment Prep
- Avoid blood thinners for 1 week before (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, ginkgo, ginseng) — with medical clearance
- No alcohol for 24–48 hours before — reduces bruising risk
- No facials, chemical peels, or laser treatments in the area for 2 weeks before
- Tell us your full medical history, medications, and any prior injectables
- Arrive with clean skin — no makeup on the treatment area
- Eat a solid meal and stay hydrated before your appointment
- Schedule strategically — do not book filler the week of a wedding, photo shoot, or major event. Allow about 2 weeks for settling.
- Bring reference photos of the effect you want (subtle, moderate, defined) — not photos of other people’s faces

Your first appointment includes a full consultation before anything is injected:

What to Expect During Your Procedure
Cleanse & numb.
The area is cleansed and topical anesthetic is applied; most structural HA fillers also contain lidocaine for comfort.
Mapping & marking.
Your injector marks injection points based on the profile and anatomy assessment from your consultation.
Injection.
A fine needle or a blunt-tip cannula is used depending on the area and technique. You will feel brief pinches and pressure — most clients describe it as very manageable.
Sculpting & shaping.
Your injector massages and molds the product to ensure smooth, even, symmetrical structure.
Immediate review.
Structural results are visible right away; the final contour settles over about 2 weeks as any swelling resolves.
Aftercare instructions.
Positioning tips, what is normal, and what to watch for.
Facial balancing appointments typically take 30–60 minutes depending on the number of areas treated.
Post-Treatment Care
First 24 Hours
- Do not press, rub, or massage treated areas (except as your injector directs).
- No vigorous exercise, heat (saunas, hot tubs, steam), or alcohol for 24 hours.
- Ice gently for swelling — light contact only, no pressure.
- Sleep on your back and slightly elevated the first night if you can.
- Expect mild swelling, tenderness, or pinpoint bruising. This is normal and peaks at 24–48 hours.
First 2 Weeks
- Structural filler settles over 2–4 weeks as swelling resolves — judge the final contour then, not on day 1.
- Avoid facials, peels, lasers, and dental work in the area for 2 weeks.
- Avoid prolonged sun and tanning while any bruising heals.
- Stay hydrated and avoid excessive salt to limit swelling.
Ongoing
- Daily SPF protects your results and your skin.
- Plan maintenance every 12–18 months depending on the product and area.
- Book a 2-week follow-up after a first treatment so we can assess and refine.
- Tell every future provider what has been injected and when.

Touch-ups
A 2-week follow-up lets us refine any area once swelling resolves. Because we dose conservatively, a first session is often perfected with a small top-up rather than corrected for overfill.
Maintenance
Structural hyaluronic acid filler typically lasts 12–18 months depending on the product and area. Most clients settle into a regular schedule that keeps their proportions looking consistent.
Dissolving (hyaluronidase)
If you ever want HA filler gone — aesthetic change, overcorrection, migration, or any reason — we can dissolve it. Hyaluronidase is injected into the filler, which breaks down within hours to days. Most med spas do not stock it. We do.
Correction of prior work
If you have filler from another provider and want a reset, your consultation will cover the options: dissolve and start fresh, dissolve and wait, or conservatively rebalance what is already there.
