PRP (platelet-rich plasma) uses a small draw of your own blood, concentrated to release the growth factors your body already makes, then returned to the skin or scalp to stimulate collagen, improve texture, soften under-eye hollowing, and support hair. At our original St Cloud location it’s performed under double board-certified cosmetic surgeon oversight — clinical, conservative, and tailored to what your skin actually needs.

Who We Are — St. Cloud

Our St Cloud location is where Pristine started. Founded in 2015 by Tamara and Inga inside the Publix Plaza on Canoe Creek Road, it’s the location that built the brand on one thing: word of mouth. A decade in, we’re still here — same plaza, same standards, same team philosophy.

Regenerative treatments like PRP fit how we’ve always worked: conservative, clinical, and honest about what will and won’t move the needle. Most of our St Cloud clients found us through a friend and have trusted us with their skin for years.

If you’re local to St Cloud, Harmony, Narcoossee, Kissimmee, or anywhere in the HWY 192 corridor — this is your spa.

What Makes Pristine PRP Different

Double board-certified cosmetic surgeon oversight.

Every regenerative treatment at Pristine operates under the medical direction of a double board-certified cosmetic surgeon. PRP involves a blood draw and tissue work — it belongs under real clinical supervision, not delegated to a remote medical director.

Licensed medical professionals only.

PRP and PRF are medical procedures. Your blood is drawn, processed, and re-applied by licensed medical professionals using sterile technique — not handed off to unlicensed staff.

Your own biology, nothing synthetic.

PRP uses your own platelets and growth factors. There is no manufactured filler or foreign material, which means a very low risk of allergic reaction and a result that comes from your own healing response.

Honest assessment and realistic expectations.

PRP is powerful but gradual, and it is not right for everyone or every goal — especially advanced hair loss. We will tell you honestly whether it fits, and what a realistic result looks like, before you commit to a series.

Proper preparation and sterile technique.

A clean draw, a calibrated centrifuge to concentrate the platelet layer, and careful application. The quality of PRP depends on how it is prepared — we treat that as the medical step it is.

A series-based, results-first plan.

PRP works best as a planned series, not a single upsell. We build a protocol around your goal — skin, under-eyes, or hair — and tell you up front how many sessions it realistically takes.

No pressure, no quota.

Our team is salaried, not commissioned. You will not be pushed into more sessions than your plan calls for, or into PRP when something else would serve you better.

How PRP Works

PRP is a simple idea backed by real biology: concentrate the healing factors already in your blood, then put them where you want regeneration to happen.

A small blood draw

We draw a small sample of your blood, similar to routine bloodwork — usually from your arm.

Concentrate the platelets

Your sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich layer, which carries the growth factors that drive healing and collagen production.

Return it to the target area

The concentrated plasma is delivered back into the skin or scalp through fine micro-channels (microneedling) or precise injection, depending on the area and goal.

Your body regenerates

Those growth factors signal your tissue to rebuild — stimulating collagen, improving texture and tone, and supporting follicles over the following weeks.

PRP vs PRF

PRP — Platelet-Rich Plasma

A liquid plasma concentrate rich in platelets and growth factors. It flows easily, which makes it ideal for injection, under-eye work, and gliding over the skin during microneedling. It releases its growth factors relatively quickly.

PRF — Platelet-Rich Fibrin

Spun more gently and without anticoagulant, PRF forms a soft fibrin scaffold and retains white cells and additional regenerative cells. It releases growth factors more slowly over time, which some providers prefer for sustained stimulation. Your provider recommends PRP or PRF based on the area and goal.

Areas We Treat with PRP

Skin texture & tone (face)

Often paired with microneedling (the “vampire facial”) to smooth texture, soften fine lines, and build a natural glow.

Under-eyes

A regenerative option for crepey, hollow, or dark under-eyes — a different approach than filler, for the right candidate.

Scalp & hair

Injected into the scalp to support follicles and slow early thinning. Works best on early-stage thinning, not fully bald areas.

Acne scarring & overall rejuvenation

Helps remodel acne scarring and improve overall skin quality when delivered as a series.

What PRP Can and Can’t Do

PRP CAN:

  • Improve skin texture, tone, and fine lines using your own growth factors
  • Soften under-eye hollowing and dark circles for the right candidate
  • Support hair density and slow early thinning
  • Improve the appearance of acne scarring
  • Boost and prolong the results of microneedling (the “vampire facial”)
  • Deliver natural, gradual rejuvenation with nothing synthetic
  • Pair safely with many other treatments

PRP CAN’T:

  • Replace surgery or a hair transplant, or regrow hair where follicles are already gone
  • Add volume the way filler does — PRP regenerates, it does not fill
  • Work overnight — results build gradually over weeks and across a series
  • Guarantee identical results for everyone — response varies by individual
  • Be performed during active infection, certain blood disorders, or on some medications without clearance

PRP is regenerative, not instant. If your goal is immediate volume, filler may be the better tool; if it is natural, gradual skin quality or early hair support using your own biology, PRP is hard to beat.

Who Comes to Pristine for PRP

  • Clients wanting natural, regenerative rejuvenation with nothing synthetic
  • Clients with early hair thinning who want to act early
  • Clients seeking an under-eye option other than filler
  • Clients improving acne scarring or overall skin texture
  • Clients combining PRP with microneedling for a “vampire facial”
  • Clients who prefer using their own biology over manufactured products
  • Long-term clients on a maintenance schedule

Before Your Appointment

Pre-Treatment Prep

  • Hydrate well for 24–48 hours before — it makes the draw easier and improves plasma quality
  • Eat a solid meal before your appointment; do not come in fasted
  • Avoid blood thinners for about 1 week before (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) — with medical clearance
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications around your treatment — they can blunt the regenerative response
  • No alcohol for 24–48 hours before — reduces bruising risk
  • Tell us your full medical history, medications, and any blood conditions
  • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area
  • Schedule around events — allow time for any redness or mild swelling to settle

The Consultation

Your first appointment includes a full consultation before anything is drawn or treated:

Medical history review

medications, blood and platelet conditions, autoimmune history, and prior treatments

Skin or scalp assessment

whether PRP fits your goal — skin texture, under-eyes, or hair — and whether PRP or PRF is the better choice

Treatment mapping

how many sessions, how they are spaced, and what a realistic result looks like for you

Pricing transparency

per-session and series pricing shared before any decision

Decision point

proceed the same day or come back — no pressure either way

What to Expect During Your Visit

Blood draw.

A small sample of your blood is drawn, similar to routine bloodwork.

Concentration.

Your sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich layer.

Cleanse & numb.

The treatment area is cleansed and topical numbing is applied for comfort.

Application.

Your PRP (or PRF) is delivered through fine micro-channels with microneedling or by precise injection, depending on the area.

Immediate aftercare.

Where appropriate we apply remaining PRP topically, then review your aftercare before you leave.

Most PRP visits take about 45–60 minutes, including the time to draw and spin your sample.

After Your Treatment

First 24–48 Hours

  • Leave the area alone — no makeup for about 24 hours after a microneedling-PRP treatment.
  • Cleanse gently with a mild cleanser; no active or exfoliating products.
  • No vigorous exercise, heat (saunas, hot tubs, steam), or alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Expect redness, warmth, and a mild “sunburned” feeling — this is normal and part of the response.
  • For scalp treatments, avoid harsh shampoos and styling products for the first day.

First 2 Weeks

  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications when possible — they can reduce the regenerative effect.
  • Wear daily SPF and avoid prolonged sun while skin settles.
  • Avoid other facials, peels, and lasers in the area for about 2 weeks.
  • Be gentle — let your body do the regenerative work.

Ongoing

  • Results build over 4–6 weeks and continue across a series of sessions.
  • Stay hydrated and protect your skin to support and prolong results.
  • Plan maintenance sessions as recommended for your goal.
  • Tell future providers what you have had done and when.

Results, Sessions & Maintenance

A series, not one-and-done

Most skin and hair protocols use a series of about three sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. A single session can help, but a series is where PRP earns its reputation.

Gradual by design

PRP works with your biology, so results build over weeks rather than appearing instantly. The trade-off for patience is a result that looks entirely natural.

Maintenance keeps it going

Periodic maintenance — often every 6–12 months for skin, and on an individualized schedule for hair — keeps results consistent over time.

Pairs beautifully

PRP is frequently combined with microneedling (the “vampire facial”) and complements injectables for a complete rejuvenation plan.

Who Is (and Isn’t) a Good Candidate

Good Candidates

  • Healthy adults with realistic expectations
  • Clients wanting natural, regenerative results
  • Clients with early-stage hair thinning
  • Willing to follow pre- and post-care
  • Willing to commit to a series for best results

Not Good Candidates (or Must Wait)

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding clients
  • Active skin or scalp infection in the treatment area
  • Certain blood or platelet disorders, or anticoagulant therapy without clearance
  • Active autoimmune flares
  • Clients expecting instant or filler-like volume
  • Advanced hair loss where follicles are no longer viable

Frequently Asked Questions

PRP is a concentrate made from a small sample of your own blood. We spin it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and the growth factors they carry, then return it to your skin or scalp to stimulate collagen, repair, and regeneration. Because it comes from your own body, the risk of allergic reaction is very low.

PRP (platelet-rich plasma) is a liquid concentrate that releases growth factors relatively quickly and is ideal for injection and microneedling. PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is spun more gently without anticoagulant, forming a fibrin scaffold that releases growth factors more slowly over time. Your provider recommends PRP or PRF based on the area and your goal.

Yes — PRP is a regenerative skin booster that uses your own growth factors to improve skin quality, texture, and tone. Unlike synthetic skin boosters, the active ingredient is your own biology.

Polynucleotide or PDRN boosters — sometimes marketed as “salmon DNA” — are a separate, newer category of regenerative product and are distinct from autologous PRP and PRF, which use your own blood. They are not the same treatment. Pristine’s regenerative program centers on PRP and PRF; ask at your consultation about current offerings and what is right for your goals.

PRP can support hair density and slow early thinning by stimulating the follicles you still have. It works best for early-stage thinning and is not a substitute for a hair transplant or a fix for areas where follicles are fully gone. Hair protocols are delivered as a planned series with maintenance.

Most skin and hair protocols use a series of about three sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by periodic maintenance. Your exact plan is mapped to your goal at consultation.

PRP is priced per session, with series pricing available. The total depends on the area and the number of sessions in your plan. Transparent pricing is shared at your consultation before any treatment begins.

Topical numbing keeps the treatment comfortable. Expect some redness and a mild “sunburned” feeling for a day or two after a microneedling-PRP treatment, and possible minor bruising at injection or draw sites. Most clients return to normal activity quickly.

PRP uses your own blood, so the risk of allergic reaction is very low. The main safety considerations are proper sterile technique and appropriate screening — which is exactly why we keep it a medical procedure under physician oversight.

Results are gradual by design. Most clients begin to notice changes a few weeks in, with continued improvement over the course of a series as collagen and tissue rebuild.

Yes. PRP is frequently combined with microneedling — that combination is known as the “vampire facial” — and complements other treatments in a broader plan. Your provider will sequence everything safely.
