The Vampire Facial combines microneedling with platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood: the microchannels let your concentrated growth factors drive deeper, stimulating collagen for improved texture, tone, pores, and fine lines. At our original St Cloud location it’s performed under double board-certified cosmetic surgeon oversight — the real protocol, not a gimmick.

Who We Are — St. Cloud

Our St Cloud location is where Pristine started. Founded in 2015 by Tamara and Inga inside the Publix Plaza on Canoe Creek Road, it’s the location that built the brand on one thing: word of mouth. A decade in, we’re still here — same plaza, same standards, same team philosophy.

The Vampire Facial fits how we’ve always worked: clinical, conservative, and honest about what microneedling with your own PRP will and won’t do. Most of our St Cloud clients found us through a friend and have trusted us with their skin for years.

If you’re local to St Cloud, Harmony, Narcoossee, Kissimmee, or anywhere in the HWY 192 corridor — this is your spa.

What Makes Pristine’s Vampire Facial Different

Double board-certified cosmetic surgeon oversight.

Every regenerative treatment at Pristine operates under the medical direction of a double board-certified cosmetic surgeon. A Vampire Facial involves a blood draw and microneedling — it belongs under real clinical supervision, not delegated to a remote medical director.

Licensed medical professionals only.

A blood draw plus microneedling is a medical procedure. Your blood is drawn, processed, and applied by licensed medical professionals using sterile technique — not handed off to unlicensed staff.

Your own PRP, nothing synthetic.

The active ingredient is your own platelets and growth factors — not a generic serum. There is no manufactured filler or foreign material, which means a very low risk of allergic reaction and a result that comes from your own healing response.

Medical-grade preparation and sterile technique.

A clean draw, a calibrated centrifuge to concentrate the platelet layer, and a sterile microneedling device at an appropriate depth. The quality of the result depends on how the PRP is prepared and applied — we treat that as the medical step it is.

Honest about downtime and results.

Expect redness the first day or two and gradual collagen improvement over weeks — not an overnight transformation. We tell you what is realistic, including when plain microneedling or PRP injection would serve you better.

No pressure, no quota.

Our team is salaried, not commissioned. You will not be pushed into more sessions than your plan calls for, or into a Vampire Facial when something else would serve your goal better.

How the Vampire Facial Works

The Vampire Facial is two proven treatments working together: microneedling to open fine channels and trigger collagen, and your own PRP to amplify the healing response from the inside.

A small blood draw

We draw a small sample of your blood, similar to routine bloodwork — usually from your arm.

Concentrate your platelets

Your sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) that carries your growth factors.

Microneedle with your PRP

A sterile microneedling device creates controlled micro-channels in the skin while your PRP is applied across the surface, so those growth factors drive deeper than topical products can reach.

Your skin regenerates

The micro-injuries plus your concentrated growth factors signal your skin to rebuild — stimulating collagen, refining texture and tone, and building a natural glow over the following weeks.

Vampire Facial vs Microneedling vs PRP Injection

Vampire Facial (Microneedling + PRP)

Microneedling and your own PRP together: the channels let your growth factors drive deeper for texture, tone, pores, and glow. The best all-around skin-quality treatment for most faces, especially over a series.

Microneedling Alone

Collagen induction from the micro-channels only, without the PRP boost. A strong, often more affordable option for texture, pores, and mild scarring — but without the added regenerative lift of your own growth factors.

PRP Injection

PRP placed by precise injection rather than over microneedled skin — used for targeted areas like under-eyes or the scalp. A different delivery for different goals; ask which approach (or combination) fits yours.

What the Vampire Facial Can and Can’t Do

It CAN:

  • Improve overall skin texture, tone, and radiance
  • Soften fine lines and refine the look of enlarged pores
  • Help remodel acne scarring when delivered as a series
  • Boost and prolong microneedling results with your own growth factors
  • Deliver natural, gradual rejuvenation with nothing synthetic
  • Pair safely with many other treatments

It CAN’T:

  • Add volume the way filler does — it regenerates, it does not fill
  • Erase deep wrinkles or significant skin laxity on its own
  • Work overnight — results build over weeks and across a series
  • Guarantee identical results for everyone — response varies by individual
  • Be performed over active breakouts, infection, a cold-sore outbreak, or on some medications without clearance

The Vampire Facial is about skin quality — texture, tone, pores, and glow — using your own biology. If your goal is added volume or smoothing deep dynamic lines, filler or Botox may be the better tool, often used alongside it.

Who Comes to Pristine for the Vampire Facial

  • Clients wanting brighter, smoother, healthier-looking skin
  • Clients improving acne scarring or uneven texture
  • Clients who prefer their own biology over synthetic products
  • Clients maintaining their skin with a periodic series
  • Clients pairing it with injectables for a complete rejuvenation plan
  • Anyone searching “vampire facial near me” who wants the real medical protocol

Before Your Appointment

Pre-Treatment Prep

  • Hydrate well for 24–48 hours before — it makes the draw easier and improves PRP quality
  • Eat a solid meal before your appointment; do not come in fasted
  • Avoid blood thinners for about 1 week before (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) — with medical clearance
  • Avoid anti-inflammatory medications around your treatment — they can blunt the regenerative response
  • No alcohol for 24–48 hours before — reduces bruising and redness
  • Pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for a few days before
  • Arrive with clean skin and no makeup on the treatment area
  • Schedule around events — allow a few days for redness to settle

The Consultation

Your first appointment includes a full consultation before anything is drawn or treated:

Medical history review

medications, blood and platelet conditions, autoimmune history, cold-sore history, and prior treatments

Skin assessment

whether the Vampire Facial fits your goal — or whether plain microneedling or a targeted PRP injection would serve you better

Treatment mapping

how many sessions, how they are spaced, and what a realistic result looks like for your skin

Pricing transparency

per-session and series pricing shared before any decision

Decision point

proceed the same day or come back — no pressure either way

What to Expect During Your Visit

Blood draw.

A small sample of your blood is drawn, similar to routine bloodwork.

Concentration.

Your sample is spun in a centrifuge to separate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma.

Cleanse & numb.

The treatment area is cleansed and topical numbing is applied for comfort — usually about 20–30 minutes.

Microneedling with PRP.

Your PRP is applied as a sterile microneedling device creates controlled micro-channels across the skin, driving your growth factors deeper.

PRP mask & aftercare.

Any remaining PRP is applied as a finishing layer, then we review your aftercare before you leave.

Most Vampire Facial visits take about 60–75 minutes, including numbing and the time to draw and spin your sample.

After Your Treatment

First 24–48 Hours (the redness window)

  • Leave your skin alone — no makeup for about 24 hours after treatment.
  • Cleanse gently with a mild cleanser; no active or exfoliating products.
  • No vigorous exercise, heat (saunas, hot tubs, steam), or alcohol for 24 hours.
  • Expect redness, warmth, and a mild “sunburned” look on day one — this is normal and calms over the next day or two.

Days 3–14

  • Mild flaking or dryness is normal around days 3–5 as the skin renews — do not pick.
  • Wear daily SPF and avoid prolonged sun while your skin settles.
  • Avoid other facials, peels, and lasers in the area for about 2 weeks.
  • Reintroduce retinoids and exfoliating acids only once your skin feels fully calm.

Ongoing

  • Initial glow appears within days; collagen-driven results build over 2–4 weeks and across a series.
  • Stay hydrated and protect your skin with SPF to support and prolong results.
  • Plan maintenance sessions every few months to keep results consistent.
  • Tell future providers what you have had done and when.

Results, Sessions & Maintenance

A series, not one-and-done

Most skin protocols use a series of about three sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. A single Vampire Facial gives a nice glow, but a series is where the collagen results show.

Glow now, collagen later

You will often see a fresh glow within days. The deeper texture and tone improvements build gradually over weeks as collagen rebuilds — the trade-off for a natural result.

Maintenance keeps it going

Periodic maintenance, often every 3–6 months, keeps skin quality consistent over time.

Pairs beautifully

The Vampire Facial complements injectables, peels, and a good skincare routine for a complete rejuvenation plan.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Vampire Facial combines microneedling with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) made from a small sample of your own blood. The microneedling creates fine channels that let your concentrated growth factors drive deeper, stimulating collagen to improve texture, tone, pores, and fine lines. It is sometimes called a “blood facial” or “PRP facial.”

Pristine Spas offers the Vampire Facial at all three Florida locations — St Cloud, Lake Nona, and Viera — performed by licensed medical professionals under double board-certified cosmetic surgeon oversight.

Yes. The Vampire Facial is microneedling performed with your own PRP applied to the skin, so your growth factors amplify the collagen response. Microneedling can also be done on its own; the PRP is what makes it a “Vampire Facial.”

Plan for redness and a mild “sunburned” feeling for the first day or two, with possible light flaking around days 3–5. Most clients are comfortable returning to normal activity quickly and wearing makeup again after about 24 hours.

Most skin protocols use a series of about three sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart, followed by periodic maintenance. Your exact plan is mapped to your skin and goals at consultation.

The Vampire Facial is priced per session, with series pricing available. The total depends on the number of sessions in your plan. Transparent pricing is shared at your consultation before any treatment begins.

Topical numbing is applied before microneedling to keep the treatment comfortable. Most clients describe a light scratching or vibration sensation rather than pain, plus the minor pinch of the blood draw.

The nickname comes from the use of your own blood (PRP) and was popularized by a well-known celebrity selfie. Despite the dramatic name, it is a legitimate medical microneedling-plus-PRP treatment — and at Pristine it is performed as the real clinical protocol, not a gimmick.

Because the PRP comes from your own blood, the risk of allergic reaction is very low. The main safety considerations are sterile technique and appropriate screening — exactly why we keep it a medical procedure under physician oversight.

Yes. The Vampire Facial pairs well with injectables, chemical peels, and a tailored skincare routine. Your provider will sequence everything safely as part of a broader plan.
